The city of Wedel is located in the district of Pinneberg, Schleswig-Holstein, and is part of the Hamburg Metropolitan Region. The city of Wedel is the educational authority for six general education schools. In Wedel, there are several primary and secondary schools: 3 primary schools, 1 community school without upper level, 1 community school with upper level, 1 grammar school. Two of the three primary schools are full-day schools (OGS). The third primary school and the community school are full-time schools (GGTS). On several days a week, students are provided with a full-day offer. A reliable, balanced and high-quality lunch catering is required. Lunch catering is guaranteed at all schools. At the secondary schools, in addition to lunch catering, a kiosk sale is to be offered. The lunch catering, including the disposal of food waste, the washing of the crockery, the hygienic final cleaning of the tables and the kiosk sale at the secondary schools, is to be awarded to one or more service providers from 01.02.2027. The future contractor will provide the service on its own responsibility and at its own economic risk. The aim is to enable students to have a tasty, high-quality, regional and sustainable diet. The catering should contribute to a health-promoting diet and at the same time be organisationally reliable and economically viable. Suitable contractors from the catering industry are to be found for this purpose, who are economically and professionally reliable contractual partners.
