Frameworks for DC cable projects for environmental construction supervision services are to be awarded to 50Hertz to avoid time-consuming individual tenders in the future. Environmental construction supervision comprises ecological construction supervision (ÖBB), soil science construction supervision (BBB) and hydrogeological construction supervision (HBB) throughout all project phases. The services advertised here, BBB and HBB, support the projects in general grid expansion projects, in different phases of the project. Typically, several phases are completed within the framework of a construction project. Depending on the project, different requirements may be placed on the contractor in each phase. These are generally described as follows:

1. Planning phase and construction preparatory measures: The construction preparatory measures include, for example: - Accompanying construction site investigations - Unexploded ordnance clearance - Archaeological measures preceding and accompanying construction (e.g. prospecting) - Pre-vegetation - Investigation of officially registered contaminated sites or suspected contaminated sites or soil contamination - General §44c measures according to EnWG. This can also include early construction sections.

2. Construction, from the availability of the plan approval decision/building permit

3. Completion and site restoration/reclamation

Foreign monitoring, fieldwork and analytical services are foreign monitoring activities and not construction services in the sense of self-monitoring.
