Germany – Pharmaceutical products – Abschluss einer nicht-exklusiven Rabattvereinbarung nach § 130a Abs. 8 SGB V zum Wirkstoff Omalizumab, ATC L04AG08 für die Zeit 01.08.2026 - 31.07.2028

Section 130a (8) of the SGB V enables health insurance funds and pharmaceutical companies to conclude framework discount contracts for medicines to be dispensed at the expense of the statutory health insurance funds. With regard to the relevant legal provisions for the award of public contracts, a regular process of substance-related, formal tendering procedures takes place in accordance with the regulations of Part 4 of the GWB by DAK-Gesundheit. For medicines to be specified by the bidder in more detail in Annex 2 to the contract for the above-mentioned active substance Omalizumab, ATC L04AG08, DAK-Gesundheit intends to conclude medicines discount contracts with as many interested pharmaceutical companies as possible until the entry into force of new medicines discount contracts. A discount contract under the approval model for the above-mentioned active substance comes into force for the first time on 01.08.2026 and ends on 31.07.2028. It ends automatically with the entry into force of the exclusive contract, regardless.
