Description

The Jobcenter Neue Wege Kreis Bergstraße is an in-house agency of Kreis Bergstraße. It is implementing the KI_Hub Kommunal project on behalf of the Kreis, which is funded from state funds as part of the strong Heimat Hessen funding programme. KI_Hub Kommunal is a joint project of municipal job centres and the K4K eG as the implementing partner. As part of the "KI_Hub Kommunal" project, an inter-municipal community of municipal organisations, particularly municipal job centres, is supported in systematically building competencies in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The project consortium comprises several municipal bodies, which, under the lead management of the municipal Jobcenter Neue Wege, jointly establish standards, structures and empowerment offers in dealing with AI. With the increasing spread of AI applications in administrative and advisory work, there is a significant need for qualification across the workforce. At the same time, Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 ("EU AI Act" or "EU AI Act") imposes specific obligations on the participating organisations to ensure an adequate level of AI competence among their staff. The aim of the procurement is to establish a sustainable, jointly usable qualification architecture, consisting of a central AI competence platform and a basic and advanced qualification built on it. The solution should be scalable, data protection compliant, and extendable beyond the project duration, and make an effective contribution to fulfilling the AI competence obligation under Article 4 of the EU AI Act.
