Finland – Railway-track maintenance services – Metroradan profilointipalvelu

The Helsinki Metropolitan Area Urban Transport Oy is tendering for a rail profile grinding service on behalf of the City of Helsinki's Transport Agency and Länsimetro Oy. The procurement concerns the implementation of a single grinding package. One grinding package covers the entire metro line in the Kantametro and Länsimetro areas in Helsinki and Espoo. The service start date is no later than January 2027. The service may also commence earlier, as early as December 2026, if the buyer and supplier jointly determine that commencement is possible at that time. The rail grinding services to be procured include preventive, corrective, and acoustic grinding. The need for and determination of the grinding to be carried out are always made before the start of grinding with the selected supplier. The track length planned for longitudinal and transverse profiling of the grinding is approximately 42,000 metres in the Kantametro area and approximately 43,000 metres in the Länsimetro area of the metro network.
