Finland – Occupational clothing, special workwear and accessories – Osallistumispyyntö / VR-yhtymä Oyj: Logistiikan suojavaatteet

The subject of the procurement are the protective clothing for the entire staff of VR Group Ltd's (hereinafter VR or the Buyer) Logistics business unit, which are used in freight transport tasks. The procurement does not include the so-called branded clothing used in passenger transport tasks. The contract period for the procurement is three (3) years, from 1 October 2027 to 30 September 2030, in addition to which VR may extend the contract for a maximum of three (3) one (1) year extension options. The subject of the procurement includes protective clothing and their laundry and logistics services. The Buyer either rents or purchases the clothing for its own use. In both business models, the contract covers the logistics and management services related to the clothing. The selected supplier must, in both business models, provide a credible report on the arrangement of the entire staff's clothing and clothing care. The Buyer's staff work outdoors, so the selected clothing must be suitable for its intended use and easy to maintain in industrial laundry, and must be workwear that meets the visibility class EN ISO 20471-2. The tender concerns both winter and summer clothing. The more detailed characteristics of the clothing to be procured are described in the preliminary description of the subject of the procurement.
