Dijon Métropole operates a direct management energy recovery unit that annually processes 140,000 tonnes of waste. The unit comprises two similar treatment lines, each consisting of a grate furnace, an energy recovery boiler, and a flue gas purification system. As part of a purchasing group, the contract covers the area of Dijon Métropole, the Communauté de Communes of Gevrey-Chambertin and Nuits-Saint-Georges, the Communauté de Communes of Ouche et Montagne, the Syndicat Mixte des Ordures Ménagères (SMOM) of Is-Sur-Tille, and the Communauté de Communes of Norge and Tille. The contractor will provide the overall service from the reception of waste to the return to the Energy Recovery Unit (UVE) of Dijon Métropole.
