The School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at University College Dublin wish to purchase a Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing System. The equipment is funded primarily by the I Form research centre, which focuses on the digitalisation of advanced manufacturing, with Additive Manufacturing (AM) as one of its exemplars. WAAM is an AM process that will complement our research in this area, focusing on modelling, digital twinning and sustainability.
