Germany – Snow-clearing services – Winterdienst Gehwege inkl. Bushaltestellen

According to § 49a Brandenburgisches Straßengesetz (BbgStrG), the municipality of Schönefeld is obligated to clear snow and combat icing on public roads, paths, and squares. The aim is to ensure the safe use of pavements and cycle paths, school routes, and bus stops within the municipal area during the winter months to avoid traffic hazards. The services include the mechanical and manual removal of snow as well as gritting (spreading) in wintry weather.
