The municipality of Kressbronn am Bodensee plans the ecological renovation of the school swimming pool from the 1970s. The indoor pool at Maicher Straße in Kressbronn has been a fixed part of the municipal sports and leisure landscape for decades. It fulfils a central function for school, club and recreational sports and is also an important meeting place and health promotion centre for the entire population. The indoor pool in Kressbronn is also important for the six directly surrounding municipalities of Tettnang, Meckenbeuren, Bodolz, Nonnenhorn, Eriskirch and Wasserburg, whose approximately 48,000 inhabitants use the indoor pool. In addition to school swimming, the pool also offers rehabilitation and health courses from the VHS. Senior swimming, swimming courses and normal public use complete the 60-hour bathing operation per week. Built in 1970-1971, the building's core structure features the typical 1970s style with low thermal insulation. The heat supply is provided by a district heating system from the Bildungszentrum Parkschule. The indoor pool has a single-storey building with changing and sanitary areas in the northern part. This area is to be renovated and restructured. The southern half of the building houses the 25m swimming pool. As part of the renovation measures, this part of the building is to be dismantled down to the structural floor. The facades and the roof are then to be rebuilt. For the services of the technical design TGA according to §§ 53, 55 HOAI ALG 7 (bathing water technology), LPH 1 - 8, 9, a suitable engineering office is being sought. The appointment is to be made step by step. There is no legal claim to the further appointment of the respective subsequent stage of services.
