Berufsgenossenschaft für Gesundheitsdienst und Wohlfahrtspflege (BGW)GermanyPublished on Mar 15, 2026
No deadline given

Description

The Berufsgenossenschaft für Gesundheitsdienst und Wohlfahrtspflege (BGW) intends to establish a digital portal (“BuS-Portal”) to support micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in the area of occupational health and safety (BuS). Many micro and small enterprises (MSEs) face difficulties in implementing legally required occupational health and safety (BuS) requirements. A BGW pilot project has shown that approximately 25% of businesses cannot provide proof of BuS support. Causes include, among others: • lack of information and guidance, • perceived cost barriers, • insufficient service provider capacities. The aim is to provide a central digital platform through which companies can fulfil their legally prescribed proof obligations for BuS support in a structured manner. At the same time, the portal should provide a transparent overview of qualified service providers approved by the BGW and simplify coordination between companies, service providers and the BGW. The information pursuant to § 21 (1) sentence 2 VgV is derived from the attached performance description. These information implement the requirements of the case law (ECJ, Judgment of 17.06.2021, C-23/20 – Simonsen & Weel).
