The service to be contracted is the cleaning of floating waste from the docks of the Port of Barcelona, as well as participation and collaboration with other port service providers for the implementation of the Maritime Interior Plan (PIM). The general territorial scope of the service provision is the protected port waters area (Zone I), including the quay wall and the slopes of the breakwater groynes. At the request of the APB, the territorial scope of the service provision must be obligatorily extended to those surfaces that it indicates, either by incorporating new water surfaces currently not existing, or for other reasons. These possible extensions will always be within the port's inland waters. Exceptionally and always at the prior request of the Port Authority of Barcelona (APB), occasional cleaning work and support in the fight against pollution in open port waters (Zone II) may be carried out.
