Germany – Contractor's all-risk insurance services – Projektversicherung GSH Troisdorf - Unkel

The project being tendered for the Troisdorf-Unkel section is part of the "General Renovation of the Right Rhine Corridor." During the complete closure of the right Rhine line in the Troisdorf-Unkel corridor, urgently needed renewal measures are to be bundled and carried out simultaneously. The investment sum for this project is estimated at approximately EUR 200.0 million. Of this, approximately EUR 11.0 million has already been settled via an existing contract. The insurance contract being newly tendered will replace the existing contract. A construction period until the end of 2026 is currently planned. The insurance contract will commence after the completion of the tendering procedure with the date of the award following a currently existing preliminary cover. (Type M) The sum insured in the liability insurance is EUR 25,000,000 per claim for personal, property and financial losses, including the benefits from the environmental liability insurance. In the design liability insurance, a separate sum insured of EUR 10,000,000 per claim for property and financial losses is available. The aforementioned sums are tripled. The Extended Maintenance in the Construction and Installation Insurance part is 42 months. The subsequent liability in the liability insurance is 10 years, in the environmental liability and environmental damage insurance 5 years. The general deductible is at least EUR 25,000. The deductible does not apply to personal injury. The extended planning cover is included in the design liability insurance. As part of the extended planning cover, the deductible is EUR 100,000.
