Germany – IT services: consulting, software development, Internet and support – Innovationspartnerschaft - Entwicklung, Erprobung und Implementierung des Care:ecoHUB

The Care:ecoHUB is designed as an innovative, nationwide transferable digital platform to support care and healthcare. The aim is to establish an interoperable, scalable data and service hub that structures, processes and makes available for different authorised user groups individual care data, quality-assuring facility data and research data. The project addresses central challenges in care and healthcare, particularly the increasing demand for care, the shortage of skilled workers and the currently inadequate sector- and facility-crossing data use. Due to the high degree of innovation, the lack of market availability of a comparable overall solution and the close interlinking of development, testing and later operation, the project will be carried out within the framework of an innovation partnership according to § 19 VgV. As part of the project, the Universitätsmedizin Halle will work with various practice cooperation partners to build an interoperable repository for obtaining individual health data in real-time. The data obtained is to be made available for scientific questions and used to improve nursing decisions. In addition, the data obtained is to serve as a benchmark for the quality of nursing services. The subject of the innovation partnership is the conception, development, testing, implementation and prospective operation of the Care:ecoHUB as a scalable, modular, real-time capable digital data and service platform for care, quality assurance and research.
