Germany – Air-rescue services – Vergabeverfahren für den Betrieb eines Rettungshubschraubers Chr. Odenwald am Standort Ravenstein

The State of Baden-Württemberg, represented by the Ministry of the Interior, for Digitalisation and Europe, intends to commission a suitable company in accordance with § 4(2) RDG to carry out air rescue at the location of Ravenstein by granting a service concession. The structural and needs analysis of air rescue in Baden-Württemberg by the Institute for Emergency Medicine and Medical Management – Clinic of the University of Munich from May 2020 (hereinafter: "needs analysis") provides for an additional air rescue unit to close the identified supply gap in northern Baden-Württemberg, in the area of the districts of Neckar-Odenwald and Hohenlohe. The need will be met by the commissioning of the RTH Christoph Odenwald through the present procedure. A negotiated procedure with prior call for competition will be conducted in accordance with §§ 153, 154 GWB in conjunction with § 12 KonzVgV and in accordance with § 14(3) and § 17 VgV.
