Netherlands – Presents and rewards – EA: Eindejaarspakketten

The contract concerns the supply to the Ministry of Defence (hereinafter: the Contracting Authority) of physical End-of-Year Packages for the end-of-year staff bonus of the Contracting Authority to its employees. With the current knowledge, it is expected that during the maximum term of four years under the Framework Agreement approximately 41,500 traditional End-of-Year Packages will be ordered, this concerns the careful estimate. An individual End-of-Year Package currently represents a fixed value of €50, incl. VAT, for DOSCO €35, incl. VAT. It is possible that during the contract period the ministry of Defence will adjust the amount or amounts, both upwards and downwards, therefore estimates are made on quantities. The Contracting Authority has made as careful an estimate as possible of the size of the Framework Agreement, but the actual take-up is not guaranteed. Depending on the amount of the personal budget per End-of-Year Package, the total value, with the current rates of €35 to €50 per package incl. VAT, would amount to €1,735,500.00 incl. VAT. Due to uncertainties, the maximum number of End-of-Year Packages to be taken up can increase to a maximum of twice the carefully estimated quantities of 41,500 units over the term of the Framework Agreement (it is not expected that this will happen but it could be possible), which amounts to a maximum of 83,000 End-of-Year Packages over the maximum term of 4 years. The tender is therefore not limited in financial scope but based on quantities.
