The bus stops in the Puchheim municipal area are to be gradually made barrier-free. In a previous implementation measure, 6 stops have already been upgraded. In the contract to be awarded here, approximately 50 stops are to be upgraded. Most of the bus stops are located on municipal roads, with a smaller number on county roads. They differ in passenger volume, as well as in their urban design context. Accordingly, the requirements for the stop standard also differ. Against this background, with the update of the Local Public Transport Plan (NVP) of the district of Fürstenfeldbruck in 2019, all stops were classified into four categories (A-D) according to their daily passenger volume and their transport function. The upgrade standard of the stops is also based on these four categories due to the very different conditions and importance of the stops. All stop surfaces are to be equipped with tactile elements. Since 12-metre buses are predominantly used in the municipal area, a barrier-free stop edge with a minimum length of 14 metres should be created as a basic principle. If changes to the road surface are necessary, this is to be planned as part of the contract up to a depth of 60 cm. Several stops are located in the area of contaminated soil, where individual solutions for bay drainage are required. Archaeological finds are not expected in the area of the bus stops. Passenger shelters are to be provided at most stops. The planning of the passenger shelters is not the subject of the contract, only their positioning. The City of Puchheim will procure the passenger shelters directly. The manufacturer's plans for these passenger shelters, including requirements for the foundations, will be provided by the City of Puchheim. The base plate can be executed as a prefabricated part of the manufacturer or in situ concrete. The completion of the construction work is scheduled for approximately 2028 to 2032.
