The oceanographic research campaigns carried out on board the vessels B/O Emma Bardán, B/O Miguel Oliver, B/O Vizconde de Eza, are essential for the proper management of fisheries and knowledge of the marine environment. The DP system currently installed on the Vizconde de Eza is out of service due to a failure in its electronic components. Its age and obsolescence mean that there are no spare parts available on the market, making effective repair or maintenance impossible. This situation compromises the vessel's operability in carrying out scientific campaigns where research stations need to be conducted. For this reason, it is necessary to award a supply contract for this equipment for its renewal, while maintaining compatibility with the rest of the equipment installed on board.
