Tender for the supply of equipment for the implementation of a project for the management of solid waste in Conakry, Kindia and Labé

The Republic of Guinea has received a grant from the Green Climate Fund (GCF) to finance the cost of the project "Green durable solutions in waste management in Conakry, Kindia and Labé" and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under the contract for the supply of equipment for the implementation of this project.

The project aims to improve the management of solid waste in the cities of Conakry, Kindia and Labé, through the implementation of a sustainable waste management system, which includes the construction of a waste treatment plant, the provision of waste collection and transport equipment, and the provision of equipment for the sorting and recycling of waste.

The equipment to be supplied includes, but is not limited to, the following:

1. Waste collection and transport vehicles (trucks, compactors, etc.)

2. Waste sorting and recycling equipment (sorting lines, shredders, balers, etc.)

3. Waste treatment equipment (incinerators, composting equipment, etc.)

4. Personal protective equipment (PPE) for waste management workers

5. Other related equipment and accessories

The contract will be implemented in the period from 2024 to 2028.

The Republic of Guinea now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of the above-mentioned equipment. Bidders must submit their proposals in accordance with the instructions to bidders, which can be obtained from the address below.
