Germany – Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services – Neubau Biologie und 4. Reinigungsstufe, Kläranlage Wildberg

Stadt WildbergGermanyPublished on Jul 19, 2026
No deadline given

Description

The town of Wildberg operates the mechanical-biological-chemical wastewater treatment plant Wildberg. There, the water from approximately 10,000 inhabitants from the districts of Wildberg, Effringen, Gültlingen, Schönbronn, and Sulz am Eck is treated. Additionally, a sparkling water factory is connected. Most of the wastewater treatment plant was built in 1980. In 2001, the plant was expanded by a second line, so that since then the plant consists of two separate biological treatment lines. The water is divided in the outlet of the sand trap to the two lines and is recombined in the outlet structure after secondary clarification. The town of Wildberg plans the construction of a 4th treatment stage. The most suitable construction site for the 4th treatment stage is the area of the combined tank (preclarification, aeration tank) of line 1. Accordingly, for the implementation of the 4th treatment stage for secured wastewater treatment, new aeration tank volume must be provided. This is to be achieved by the construction of a second aeration tank line directly east of the existing line 2. The following measures are required for the implementation of the two structures: - Expansion of the intermediate pumping station to the entire water volume of the wastewater treatment plant - Conversion of the preclarification 2 for distribution to the two aeration tank lines - Construction of the aeration tank line (3 cascades) - Conversion of the blower station 2 - Construction of the pipeline between aeration tank line and secondary clarification tank 1 - Construction of the return sludge pump station 1 - Adaptation of P precipitation - Demolition of the combined tank line 1 - Construction of the 4th treatment stage. With this implementation, synergies will be utilized, the wastewater treatment plant will be expanded in a future-proof manner, the newly sealed areas will be reduced to a minimum, and the wastewater treatment will be significantly improved by the construction of the 4th treatment stage. The requirements of the funding agency and/or the permitting authority must be mandatorily implemented in the planning, and the funding requirements must be fully met.
