In Article 9 of the Social Action Regulation of the staff of the University of Cantabria, approved in the IV Study of the Organisation of University Services of the UC 2010-2012, by agreement of the Governing Council and Social Council of 26 May and 7 June 2010, respectively, the catalogue of aids for the staff of the University of Cantabria is established, for which a collective life and accident insurance policy is arranged, to cover the risks of Permanent, Total and Absolute Disability, and death at any time. Therefore, it is necessary to meet this need and protect the insured from accidents that may occur in both their professional and private life.
