Germany – Load-bearing structure design services – Tragwerksplanung für Mainbrückenradweg

The municipality of Himmelkron intends to implement the project „Mainbrückenradweg Himmelkron“. The subject of the project is the construction of a approximately 790 m long cycle path on the former railway line southwest of the town centre of Himmelkron. The project aims to close a gap in the existing cycle path network between the state road Himmelkron-Trebgast and the GV-Straße Himmelkron-Lanzendorf, as well as to improve the traffic safety and attractiveness of the supra-regional cycle path network. As part of the project, three existing bridge structures are to be adapted and upgraded: • Flutbrücke KM 4,828 (approx. 45 lfm) • Flutbrücke KM 4,94 (approx. 25 lfm) • Brücke Weißer Main KM 5,156 (approx. 30 lfm) The structural plans are attached as Annexes 27 to 29. The existing documents are to be checked by the contractor and used as the basis for the structural design. If the existing documents are not sufficient for individual proofs, the contractor must immediately inform the client of the need for additional surveys or measurements. The performance phases 1 to 4 of the project planning for the overall project have already been provided by another contractor. The existing design and approval planning is to be taken over by the structural engineer, checked for technical content and coordinated with the own specialist planning. Any identifiable contradictions, missing bases or necessary adaptations are to be communicated to the client and the project planner in text form without delay. The subject of the open procedure is the specialist planning structural design according to §§ 49 to 52 HOAI in conjunction with Annex 14 HOAI for the three bridge structures mentioned above. The basic services of the performance phases 2 to 6 are advertised. The performance phase 1 of the structural design will not be separately commissioned, as it is included in the scope of services of the civil engineering structures for traffic facilities according to § 51 paragraph 5 sentence 2 HOAI. The construction costs (as of cost estimate 24.09.2025) amount to a total of approximately 2,16 million € gross. For the structural design, the costs of the individual bridge structures that can be charged according to § 50 HOAI are decisive.
