Belgium – Sewage work – ABT-151-2-1 - SEW - Revamping Coeur de Station ERU

The present Contract concerns the design and execution of the renovation works of the core of the SEW, namely the lines for the treatment of urban wastewater (North line, South line and storm line), the treatment of effluents from the ancillary lines and the sludge treatment line (from extraction to dewatering). The solutions expected for the present Contract (renovation of the core of the station) must integrate:

- A solution to ensure the continuity of the operation of the SEW during the duration of the Contract (estimated at approximately 4 years) and to meet the annual budgetary constraints related to financing by the SPGE;

- An increase in the performance of the SEW after renovation (particularly in terms of hydraulic capacity, energy optimization, purification and reduction of noise and odour pollution);

- A solution that must imperatively meet the discharge conditions established by Directive 2024/3019/UE of 27 November 2024 on the treatment of urban wastewater;

- An improvement in operational management (operation and maintenance) after renovation (in terms of cost, ease and safety);

- Eco-responsible management of the site and the Contract (CO² performance and Lansink scale for the prevention and management of waste);

- All the technical and geographical constraints of the Site, in coherence and compliance with the subsequent phases of the Project (GEM, UVB and IOS projects mentioned above);

- An improvement in the landscape integration of the SEW and its ancillary and connected buildings.
