Due to the unsalvageable condition of the old building, the construction of a new building for a two-stream primary school and a one- to two-stream secondary school is recommended. Additionally, six classrooms and optionally special rooms for the adjacent grammar school are planned. The aim of the project is to create a modern, functionally designed and future-proof school campus that meets the school building recommendations of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the curriculum of the Thuringian School Ordinance, as well as the current pedagogical, technical and energy requirements. The new building will create a sustainable, barrier-free and pedagogically high-quality educational site that will contribute to the long-term improvement of the school and educational infrastructure of the region.
