Sweden – Metering instruments – Ramavtal Gasmätare och PPV-fläktar (Positive Pressure Ventilation)

This procurement concerns a new framework agreement with two lots: Gas meters and PPV fans. Each lot also includes positions for spare parts, system security, ILS, user training, technician training, storage training and special tools/maintenance equipment. Gas meters with accessories are to be used for the evaluation of potential exposure to flammable and toxic gases and vapours, as well as for low oxygen levels on board warships and at the Swedish Armed Forces' schools. Additionally, as a decision support tool before re-entry into fire-damaged spaces, to ensure the safety of personnel. PPV fans with accessories are to be used in protective measures in connection with firefighting or direct firefighting on board warships, other rescue operations, and at the Swedish Armed Forces' schools. The framework agreement consists of a basic agreement for three years with extension options of 2+2+15 years. Where the last option of fifteen years only concerns spare parts. The framework agreement is signed with FMV as the contracting party, but the Swedish Armed Forces are the beneficiary.
