The contract concerns the purchase, installation, commissioning and clinical commissioning of a high-performance photon-counting CT system for the Medical Imaging department, including all necessary hardware, software, licences, reconstruction capacity, accessories, interfaces, training and documentation to use the device as a clinically functional unit. The device is intended for routine and complex diagnostic CT imaging, with particular emphasis on high spatial and temporal resolution, intrinsic and clinically useful spectral information, high-performance cardiac imaging, coronary CT angiography, assessment of coronary calcifications and coronary stents, and sufficient clinical workflow/throughput. Essential functionalities required for the intended clinical use must not be offered as optional or separately purchasable extras outside the basic offer. All necessary software, licences, reconstructions, applications and accessories for cardiac, spectral and UHR applications must be included in the basic delivery, as well as user training and technical training. Works: In this project, the device-specific works will also be carried out by the supplier. This includes: site preparation and site management, dismantling and scrapping of the current Flash CT (incl crane), electrical works necessary to operate the device, floor and ceiling works, installation of the server room, cooling, chilled water, all necessary pipes, cabling, alarms and all necessary inspections and certificates for commissioning the new device. Not within the scope of this contract is the addition of lead shielding in the room. The new device will be placed on Campus Moorselbaan, at the Medical Imaging department, to replace the current Flash CT scanner. The Flash CT may be scrapped. The supplier is responsible for the removal and disposal of the old CT, including certificate. All mandatory inspections and certificates must be included in the contract. The tenderer acknowledges Annex M: General Safety and Health Plan AZORG and confirms adherence by returning this signed. The contractor will take all necessary measures to avoid damage to existing infrastructure and completely exclude dust nuisance within the building. During the works, existing, delivered and installed materials will be protected against damage, weather influences and theft. The taking into use of buildings or parts thereof does not constitute completion of the works. Delivery, placement, connection, commissioning and testing of all parts of the installation are always included.
