In accordance with the provisions of Article 2.d) of Royal Decree-Law 3/2020, of 4 February, the contract concerns the supply of buses for the provision of the urban passenger transport service, forming part of the EMTSAM bus fleet, according to the conditions set out in the Technical Specifications Document. This supply is entirely necessary to provide adequate service in the city of Málaga, for the urban transport service provided by EMTSAM, under the direct management mandate from the Ayuntamiento de Málaga. The technical specifications of the goods are explicitly described in the Particular Technical Specifications Document. The supply includes the transport and distribution of the goods, which are the subject of this contract, in accordance with the destinations specified in the corresponding Technical Specifications Document. The vehicles subject to the contract are standard diesel-hybrid low-floor urban buses, with three doors, approximately 12 meters in length. With an approximate power of 221 kW (approx. 300 hp). Adapted for use by people with reduced mobility, with a double ramp system (automatic and manual) at the central door, as well as space on the central platform for at least one wheelchair. Equipped with a kneeling device on its right side if necessary due to its height. The details and technical conditions of the same are specified in the Technical Specifications Document. The contract is not divided into lots in accordance with the provisions of Article 52.3 of Royal Decree-Law 3/2020, of 4 February, as there are valid reasons that justify the unitary procurement of the supply.
