The scope of the present contract consists mainly of the realisation of:

- 1x 150 m1 + 2x 180 m1 sea defence with a retaining height* of approximately 18 metres;

- 1x 300 m1 sea defence with a retaining height* of approximately 19 metres;

- related provisions such as:

- sewage pipes and installations for pumping bilge water from ships;

- water pipes and installations for supplying drinking and fire-fighting water;

- the construction of a caisson area, lay-by areas, access roads and parking spaces (total approximately 60,000 m2);

- dredging works, coastal and bank protection (soil protection).

* By retaining height is meant the difference between the construction depth and the top of the sea defence. See tender guidance registration phase.
