Description

The Frankfurt South and Deutschherrnbrücke Bridge (DHB) project is a central component for increasing capacity and quality in the Frankfurt node. It includes the replacement new construction of a two-track Main Bridge east of the listed Deutschherrnbrücke, as well as the adaptation of the adjacent engineering structures (EÜ Eyssenstraße, EÜ Mayfarthstraße, EÜ Hanauer Landstraße) and the route 3660 between Frankfurt (Main) South and Frankfurt (Main) East. In addition, a bypass track (route 3659) south of the Main will be integrated at the same level. The new construction is carried out in a side position to largely maintain operations; the existing bridge will be preserved as a monument. The measure is embedded in FRMplus and corresponds with the projects Knoten Frankfurt and Nordmainische S Bahn. Based on an acoustic investigation (sections 7 and 8, D Takt 2030), the proof of substantial change according to 16. BImSchV is available for the area EÜ Darmstädter Landstraße to Bf Frankfurt (Main) Ost. Preferred variants for active noise control measures have been derived from this. For the design and acceptance of the noise barriers (SSW) in the project area Frankfurt South and DHB, solutions will be developed, visualized, coordinated with stakeholders and documented within the scope of this contract. The aim is an approval-compatible, urban-compatible and economical implementation.
