Germany – Financial leasing services – Rahmenvereinbarung über das Leasing von Fahrrädern für die Mitarbeitenden des Landkreises Havelland, der Städte Nauen und Falkensee sowie der Gemeinde Wustermark

Since 2023, the Landkreis Havelland as the contracting authority, as well as the administrations of the cities of Nauen and Falkensee and the municipality of Wustermark, have been offering their employees, as part of occupational health promotion, to strengthen their position as attractive employers and as a contribution to more sustainability and climate protection, the leasing of a bicycle for the purpose of salary conversion. Due to the high demand, employees are to be offered bicycle leasing even after the expiry of the current contract period. The collective agreement on salary conversion for the purpose of leasing bicycles in the communal public service (TV-Fahrradleasing) of 25 October 2020 provides the legal basis for salary conversion for employees subject to collective bargaining agreements. Section 2 (3) of the Brandenburg Salary Act (BbgBesG) also provides the possibility of converting remuneration for the purpose of bicycle leasing for civil servants.
