Finland – Construction work – Paavolan päiväkoti Lahti, rakennusurakka (pääurakka)

The Paavola daycare project involves the construction of a new two-storey daycare building with courtyards and outbuildings. The building size is 2 697 m2 and 2 472 m2. The daycare operates as a day nursery. In terms of evening and night care facilities, the building is classified as a care facility, otherwise it is a normal daycare facility. The Paavola daycare will accommodate 10 care groups in the daycare, facilities for one group for evening/night and weekend use, and a service kitchen. The project will be implemented according to the client's plans as a divided contract, where the main and sub-contractors are in a direct contractual relationship with the client. The main contractor is responsible for the site management duties. Electrical, HVAC and sprinkler contracts will be subcontracted under separate agreements to the building contract.
