The aim of the tender is the partial modernisation and the ensuring of long-term operation of the bus shelters in the municipal area of Remscheid. The new bus shelters are to further improve the image and quality of public transport and contribute to a more attractive urban landscape. The tender is planned as a concession award with a contract duration of 20 years. The new operator will take over the installation, maintenance and care of the bus shelters at their own economic risk. In return, the new provider will have the opportunity to equip the bus shelter with advertising spaces and operate it through advertising revenue. For long-term operation, modern and future-proof bus shelters are necessary that meet the requirements of our customers and the usual guidelines. The execution of the bus shelters should be durable and visually appealing, so that an operation of 25 years is enabled.
