Germany – Repair and maintenance services of security and defence materials – BG_1589_EU/25 - Werksinstandsetzung von MOTOREN, DIESEL des Systems KPz Leopard 2

The contract comprises the overhaul of engines for the KPz Leopard 2 system. Bidders must take into account when submitting their tenders that the details for the respective lots are merely estimated requirements derived from historical values and include any additional requirements (safety margin) that may arise. The actual orders placed during the contract period may deviate in terms of the quantities required for the respective supply numbers contained in a lot. The upper limit for each order is in every case the total quantity summarized in the relevant lot (estimated requirement + safety margin). This contract does not oblige the contracting authority to place individual orders. The contract period begins with the award of the contract and ends on 31.12.2028. If the existing contract between HIL GmbH and the Bundeswehr ends for any legal reason, the framework agreement can be terminated by a special termination right. Furthermore, the contracting authority reserves the right to optionally extend the framework agreement until 31.12.2029.
