Germany – Overhead line construction – Netzverstärkung Mecklar - Vieselbach Montage-/Demontageleistungen zur Umbeseilung der 380-kV-Leitung Mecklar – Vieselbach 449/450/454

As part of the energy transition, the AG plans to implement the project Grid Reinforcement Pasewalk - Güstrow. The project was first identified in the Network Development Plan (NEP) 2025, confirmed in the NEP 2030 in December 2019 under the number P216, and reaffirmed in the NEP 2035 (2022) and the 2nd draft of the NEP 2037/2045 (2023). Additionally, it is listed as project No. 53 in the Federal Requirements Planning Act (BBPlG) since March 2021 as "High-voltage line Güstrow – Siedenbrünzow – Iven / Krusenfelde / Krien / Spantekow / Werder / Bartow – Pasewalk Nord – Pasewalk; Three-phase rated voltage 380 kV". The project is a cross-border project between Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Brandenburg, with the responsible permitting authority being the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (WMMV). The project goal is to strengthen the grid infrastructure in the region for a high-performance east-west connection and to increase the transmission capacity in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern between the substations (UW) Pasewalk, Iven, Siedenbrünzow and Güstrow. The project thus fulfills the legal obligation of a secure energy supply. According to the NEP 2035, Version 2021, the grid reinforcement is to be realized primarily by a replacement new build in the existing 220-kV high-voltage line. The 220-kV line, constructed in 1962 between the UW Güstrow and Pasewalk, is to be replaced by a 380-kV line with high-current conductor (4,000 A). Additionally, the 380-kV facilities in Güstrow, Siedenbrünzow and Pasewalk are to be expanded and a new 380-kV facility is to be constructed in Iven-West. The 380-kV facility in Pasewalk Nord will be constructed by Enertrag for the connection of renewable energy plants and electrolyzers in close coordination with the 50Hertz project. The overall project connects the grid interconnection points Güstrow – Siedenbrünzow – Iven/West – Pasewalk/Nord – Pasewalk and is divided into three permitting sections: Section East (Pasewalk – Pasewalk Nord – Iven West) – incl. new construction UW Iven West and section in Brandenburg, Section Centre (Iven West – Siedenbrünzow), Section West (Siedenbrünzow – Güstrow). The commissioning of the individual sections is planned for the years 2028 (East), 2029 (Centre) and 2033 (West). The current tender for assembly services concerns Section East and includes the construction of the new 380-kV line Iven-West – Pasewalk/Nord – Pasewalk 637/638/639/640 as well as the dismantling of the 220-kV overhead line Güstrow – Pasewalk 315/316 between Iven-West and Pasewalk after the new line has been commissioned. Furthermore, this tender includes the setup of a temporary structure for the Lubmin – Altentreptow/Nord – Altentreptow/Süd at Iven between the existing masts 106 and 111.
