Romania – Animal feedstuffs – Acord-cadru furnizare „Hrană pentru animale din cadrul Administratia Gradinii Zoologice Și a Platoului Cornești”

The initiation of the procurement procedure aims to conclude framework agreements for a period of 3 years for the supply of food for the animals within the zoo. The animals require healthy food that is fresh, varied, rich in vital substances, with many vitamins, mineral salts, trace elements, amino acids, and various substances of animal origin that can be obtained from the consumption of offal and that can ensure the daily requirement of nutrients. The performance of the procurement is important to maintain a suitable state of health for the animals and to ensure them the necessary quantity of nutrients for the best possible development of physiological processes and the best possible expression of behaviour. Furthermore, for various exotic animals, a certain percentage of food specific to the animal's region of origin must be ensured.
