Netherlands – Platforms ladders – Masthoogwerkers

The RDW is increasingly conducting inspections on, among other things, hydrogen- and electrically-powered buses. For this, RDW employees must be able to work safely at height. To ensure a safe, stable, and efficient working height, the use of mast lifts is necessary. Since the RDW currently carries out these activities at 16 inspection locations, spread across the Netherlands, 16 mast lifts will need to be delivered and maintained.

In addition, RDW employees must be instructed/trained to use the mast lifts safely and responsibly. This Contract/ Agreement relates to the following:

1. Purchase & delivery of 16 mast lifts for all RDW inspection locations.

2. Training (including certification) for RDW employees who will be using the mast lifts. This concerns initially 48 RDW employees (for commissioning of mast lifts). During the maintenance period, new individual employees will be trained if necessary/desired.

3. Maintenance (preventive and corrective) of the mast lifts for a period of 10 years.

4. Carrying out legally required inspections and/or certifications of the mast lifts.

5. Extensions (including accessories) and/or legally required modifications of the mast lift(s).
