Netherlands – Building construction work – Nieuwbouw IKC De Wegwijzer

De Wegwijzer is an Integral Child Centre. The current school will be demolished and replaced with new construction on the same site. The site will be delivered ready for construction. The new building will be realized for approximately 260 pupils and the BVO amounts to approximately 2881m2 over two storeys, including a gymnasium and daycare. The building has the following structure:

**Foundation:**

- In-ground formed (bored) piles with a concrete beam grid on top.

**Floors:**

- Ground floor; insulated channel plate floor,

- 1st floor; channel plate floor with integrated steel joists.

**Load-bearing structure:**

- Ground floor; concrete columns with integrated steel joists,

- 1st floor; wooden columns with wooden edge joists and integrated steel joists.

**Roof school and daycare:**

- EPDM roof covering,

- Insulation,

- Roof floor; lignatur element.

**Roof gymnasium:**

- EPDM roof covering,

- Insulation,

- Laminated wooden beam layer above the roof wood.

**External walls school and daycare:**

- Insulated wood
