Germany – Urban planning services – Ausarbeitung eines städtebaulich-freiraumplanerischen Rahmenplans bzw. eines Funktionsplan

The subject of the contract to be awarded is the development of a master plan or a functional plan based on the draft from the competitive dialogue. Part of the subsequent contract is also the participation in the planning workshop for the further development and harmonisation of the draft with the results of the master planning process of Körber Technologies. The task of the planning teams is to develop a robust, implementation-oriented and at the same time ambitious spatial concept. This should show how the site can be secured and further developed as an inner-city commercial and industrial site, and how it can be newly ordered in terms of urban planning, qualitatively improved in terms of open space, climatically adapted and better networked in terms of transport. The aim is to create a development-capable framework that enables future changes and adaptations, that provides a reliable transformation logic, and that shows different time horizons, ownership structures, operational requirements and possible development paths. In the competitive procedure, the urban planning and open space planning issues are to be addressed in an integrated planning perspective. The master plan to be developed includes the development of an urban planning and open space planning guideline as well as the spatial concretisation of central statements on use, building structure, public space, green and open spaces and access. In doing so, further specialist requirements and plans, insofar as they are relevant to the study area, are to be included and integrated into a coordinated overall concept.
