Norway – Road bridge construction work – National road 70 Fale bridge

The contract work includes a new bridge on national road 70 at Fale, over the river Driva in Sunndal municipality. The site is located approx. 16 km southeast of the centre of Sunndal. The existing bridge does not fulfil the requirements for user class BK10/60. The new bridge will particularly improve accessibility for the heavy vehicle industry, and provide better traffic safety at junctions to local roads. In addition to the new bridge, the contract work includes improvements to junctions to Vermøyvegen, as well as affected private exits. The extent of the new bridge with the accompanying remodelled road is approx. 800 m.
