Switzerland – Software package and information systems – NextGen Backup Software 2026

With this tender, a supplier is to be determined which, together with the Organisation and Informatik Zürich (OIZ), will modernise the existing data backup, further develop it to meet the then-applicable requirements of the OIZ for at least the next 5+5 years (contract duration + option) and provide services within the scope of maintenance and support. In line with the efforts towards the digital sovereignty of the City of Zurich, suppliers are sought which will then support the OIZ in the event of a switch to an alternative, hybrid multi-cloud platform to Google Anthos (Lot 1) or from Microsoft 365 to alternative, classic office applications with intelligent cloud services (Lot 2) for data backup.
