Netherlands – Construction work for water projects – 31215855: Inrichting Circulaire Werf Duivelseiland (CWD)

Rijkswaterstaat has chosen to establish its own shipyard on Krabbegors, a small island in the port area of the city of Dordrecht (also known as 'Devil's Island'). To make the island suitable for this purpose, the following main works are required: adapting quays and banks, creating an intake in the bank of the Oude Maas, installing pile foundations for support points, installing a foundation and beam for a skidway and further developing the shipyard site. The contracting authority intends to award this contract in the form of an engineering & construction contract, with the conditions of the UAV-GC 2025. As part of the contract, a DO will be provided, which must be elaborated by the future contractor until a UO. The biggest challenge for the execution is the lead time: the end milestone for this project is directly linked to the start moment of the first user of the shipyard, the project 'Vernieuwen Van Brienenoordbrug'.
