Germany – Contractor's all-risk insurance services – Projektversicherung für das Bauvohaben GSH 5830 Obertraubling-Passau

DB InfraGO AG intends to carry out a comprehensive renovation of the Obertraubling – Passau line (line 5830), including associated EStW/ETCS measures. The investment sum for this project is estimated at approximately EUR 1.1 billion. Of this, approximately EUR 75 million has already been settled through an existing contract. The new insurance contract to be tendered will replace the existing contract. A construction period until 31.07.2027 is currently planned. The insurance contract will commence after the completion of the tendering procedure on the date of the award, following an existing advance cover. (Type L) The liability insurance has a coverage sum of EUR 25,000,000 per claim for personal, property, and financial losses, including environmental liability insurance. The planning liability insurance has a separate coverage sum of EUR 10,000,000 per claim for property and financial losses. The aforementioned sums are tripled. The Extended Maintenance in the construction and assembly insurance part amounts to 42 months. The subsequent liability in the liability insurance is 10 years, in the environmental liability and environmental damage insurance 5 years. The general deductible is at least EUR 25,000. There is no deductible for personal injury. The planning liability insurance includes extended planning cover. As part of the extended planning cover, the deductible is EUR 100,000.
