The German Climate Computing Centre GmbH (Contracting Authority: DKRZ) operates, as a supra-regional service facility, a computing centre for the execution of climate simulations. Furthermore, the DKRZ maintains all the technical facilities necessary for the processing and evaluation of relevant data, maintains and develops user software generally relevant for climate research, advises and supports its users in IT questions and participates in national and international projects and cooperations with the aim of improving the infrastructure for climate modelling.
