Germany – Pumping station construction work – Projekt: Gebietserweiterung Nord - Pumpstation Rathenaustraße - Vergabeeinheit Vergabeeinheit Anlagentechnik Pumpstation Rathenaustraße

The Hamburger Energiewerke GmbH (HEnW) aims to establish an environmentally friendly and efficient heat supply in the areas around Hamburg Airport. To achieve this, the construction of a district heating connection of approximately 4.66 kilometres in length is planned, which will run from an existing line in the Otto-Wels-Str. / Sydneystraße area to the main recipients - Lufthansa Technik (LHT) and the airport. Additionally, connection points for further districts are planned to ensure densification for the coming years. Part of the project is the construction of a district heating pump station in the area of the Alster crossing, which will function as a pressure-increasing station.
