Germany – Load-bearing structure design services – Umbau der Grundschule Gaustadt zur Schaffung von Räumen für die Ganztagesbetreuung – Leistungen der Tragwerksplanung gemäß §§ 49 ff. HOAI // LPH 1-6

The primary and middle school Gaustadt in Bamberg is to be renovated to ensure the legal entitlement to full-day care and to adapt to the current requirements of school operations. Additional rooms for open full-day care and an extension of the existing canteen are planned for this purpose. The planning involves creating approximately 180 m² of usable space for open full-day care with around 60 care places, including office, parent consultation, and differentiation rooms. In addition, the existing canteen on the ground floor is to be extended from the current approximately 74 m² to about 130 m² to ensure midday meals for up to approximately 126 persons in the future. According to the current planning concept, the creation of space can largely be achieved through the conversion of the western attic area of the existing school building, in particular the currently unused janitor's apartment and further attic spaces. To ensure the first and second building evacuation routes, additional measures in the eastern attic area must be taken into account, among other things. The construction of external stairs should be avoided if possible. The extension of the canteen requires interventions in the building stock on the ground floor. Special requirements exist regarding the extensive barrier-free accessibility, compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, school building safety requirements, and the implementation of the measures during ongoing school operations. The measure is to be financed with funding from the Free State of Bavaria according to Art. 10 FAG. The milestones for implementing the project provide for: - Start of services: 2nd quarter 2027 - Start of construction: 2nd quarter 2028 - Completion: 2nd quarter 2029 The current cost estimate for cost groups 300 and 400 is approximately 1.90 million EUR gross, and for the open spaces of cost group 500 approximately 67,000 EUR gross. It is intended to award the following services with this tender: Structural design according to §§ 49 ff. HOAI performance phases 1 to 6. The services will be awarded in stages. Initially, in the 1st awarding stage, the performance phase 1+2 according to § 51 HOAI will be awarded. The performance phases 3-6 will be called up in stages. There is no legal entitlement to a full award.
