Switzerland – Construction work – Rénovation/Transformation du CID de Malley / Installations Sanitaires

The present contract provides for the implementation of the following installations:

Preparatory works and temporary installations: Dismantling of the three existing high-pressure washing stations and the old fire hydrant supply pipes, with draining, disconnecting and plugging. The contract also includes the installation of the temporary supplies necessary during the works.

Washing lanes and rainwater recovery: Creation of three washing lanes for refuse collection vehicles and installation of a rainwater recovery system from the existing retention basin. The installation includes a pressure booster set, potable water refeeding, control equipment and the necessary networks for supplying the lanes and cleaning equipment.

Sanitary facilities and equipment: Fitting out of two sanitary facilities, including one WC accessible to people with reduced mobility (PMR), with supply, installation and connection of sanitary equipment and accessories. The contract includes the WC, washbasins, two stainless steel troughs with cold water supply, and the water points provided in the technical rooms.

Supply and drainage networks: Implementation and adaptation of cold water, hot water and circulation networks, including connection to the thermodynamical water heater supplied by the heating engineer. Implementation of the wastewater network in the future sanitary void, with drop columns, primary ventilation with air valve. Two new rainwater columns are also planned, subject to validation by the works directorate.

Fire installations and anti-freeze protection: Adaptation of existing fire hydrants, supply and installation of additional fire hydrants and a new fire cabinet. The contract also includes the installation of a self-regulating heating cable intended to protect the pipes located at the ceiling of the unloading areas from freezing.
