Subject of the contracted service: As part of the renovation of the Krematorium Nürnberg, Westfriedhof, it is necessary to structurally extend the technical building. The existing building of the crematorium will be renovated and converted, and extended to the same eaves height. The extension will be carried out in a westerly direction, so as to be as far away as possible from the historic listed parts of the existing building. The present tender includes steel construction work. An important condition is that the project will be divided into a total of five construction phases and the conversion/renovation and extension must be carried out while in operation. The measure includes sectional construction services, some of which have complex interfaces with the technical equipment and plant engineering of the cremation plants. A large part of the trades and areas of performance are repeated in the individual construction phases.
