Germany – Road construction works – Grundhafter Ausbau der Wallrothstraße mit statischen Hangsicherungen sowie Neubau eines gemeinsamen Geh-/Radweges in 99734 Nordhausen; 2. Bauabschnitt
Description
The city of Nordhausen is carrying out a comprehensive reconstruction of the Wallrothstraße. The measure will be carried out in several construction sections. In the 1st construction section (Station 0-085 to 0+340), the reconstruction including a new rainwater canal has already been completed. With this procedure, the construction services for the 2nd construction section from construction km 0+340 to construction km 0+508 are tendered (listed in this notice under point 5 as LOT-0001). The road runs in this section in a pronounced slope. The valley-side slope is not stable; the stability is ensured by three civil engineering structures, which form the focus of the measure: - an intersecting bored pile wall from Station 0+400 to 0+508, length approx. 108 m, developed wall area approx. 1,350 m², large bored piles according to DIN EN 1536 with D = 88 cm, anchored back with 29 micropiles according to DIN EN 14199; on top of which a head beam and cap made of reinforced concrete, - a steel reinforced concrete retaining wall from Station 0+420 to 0+508, length approx. 90 m, - a slope stabilisation in reinforced earth with geogrids from Station 0+340 to 0+400. In addition, there is the comprehensive road reconstruction including surface water drainage, a shared footpath and cycle path, which is sectionally guided over the cap of the bored pile wall, a crossing aid with ground indicators, the street lighting as well as the adaptation of the mountain-side forest path. Special conditions for execution: - The construction area is suspected of containing ordnance; a probe must be carried out before earth and drilling work. - Beneath the existing carriageway there is a packing layer contaminated with polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. The guidelines C 316 and TRGS 551 apply to its removal. - A medium-voltage line of the local network operator, which is in operation, runs through the construction area and must be secured during the construction period. - The tree felling and clearing work is subject to the binding under § 39 Abs. 5 BNatSchG and is only permitted outside the period from 1 March to 30 September. - The working level for the bored pile work is the existing carriageway with a paved width of approx. 5.65 m. The construction measure will be carried out in three temporally separate execution sections: - Section 1: Tree felling and shrub work, 18.01.2027 to 28.02.2027. - Section 2.1: Main construction measure, 03/2027 to 12/2027. - Section 2.2: Completion of the main construction measure, 04/2028 to 06/2028. Work is paused between Section 1 and Section 2.1. The winter break starts from 18.12.2027 between Section 2.1 and Section 2.2. No further division of the service advertised here into lots is planned.
