Belgium – Monitoring and control services – Ondersteuning bij het uitvoeren van metingen ten behoeve van het WL-HIC

The subject of the contract includes providing support for the preparation, execution and follow-up (data collection, archiving, evaluation, maintenance of instrumentation) during the maintenance and calibration of multiparameter sensors of the Hydrological Information Centre of the Hydraulics Laboratory (WL-HIC) in the Scheldt estuary, with a view to independent execution thereof. The subject of the contract also includes providing physical assistance in the execution of discharge measurements on the waterways in the Flemish Region, and also the independent measurement of discharges on the waterways, using towed ADCP systems of the Authority. The first control and processing of these measurements for the data validation team is also part of the scope of work. Occasionally, the operation of operational gauging stations must also be checked for proper functioning, where the power supply must also be checked and kept up to date by means of timely battery replacement. The subject of the contract includes to a lesser extent the provision of physical assistance, on board or not, of measuring vessels of the DAB Fleet during measurement campaigns carried out by the WL-HIC.
