Germany – Architectural, engineering and planning services – Mannheim Hbf-MaFF - Qualitätsprüfung Planung VP, EP, GP (VA, KIB, EEA, OLA, LST, TK, BBP)

The three projects involve expansion works between Mannheim-Hbf and Mannheim-Friedrichsfeld Süd. The project Achsverschwenkung Mannheim Hbf aims to optimise the sorting of local and long-distance tracks to minimise crossing conflicts and separate traffic flows. The multi-track expansion will create additional capacities for local transport through four continuous main tracks, separate traffic flows and improve operational quality. The junction structures in Mannheim-Friedrichsfeld are intended to enable a grade-separated crossing of traffic between Mannheim and Heidelberg with that coming from Weinheim towards Mannheim marshalling yard. The aim is to improve operational quality. As part of this procurement, the planning-accompanying quality checks for the planning of the aforementioned projects will be tendered. The services during the preliminary planning will be firmly awarded. The design and approval planning phases will be optionally tendered. The lots include the trades of transport facilities, structural engineering, electrical power systems, overhead lines, control and signalling technology, telecommunications and construction phase planning. Depending on the trade, the lots are formed cross-project or project-specific.
